Aqaba Tourism Festival 2011

The Aqaba Tourism Festival will take place between 27th September and 1st October 2011 in the main hotel area of Aqaba: starting in front of the InterContinental Hotel going through Mövenpick Residence & Resort, Kempinski Hotel and ending at the Gateway complex near Ayla Circle.

The apropos of the festival is to celebrate the announcement of "Aqaba, the Arab tourism capital 2011".

Public events will include aqua park, inflatable bouncy castles and slides, paint ball, outdoor movie theater, pavement art, street circus, puppet show, dancers, etc.

The Aqaba Tourism Festival 2011 will also include a major conference for Arab and Latin American tourism ministers to meet and discuss all tourism related issues between the two regions.

Conference guests will enjoy exclusive programs like gala dinners and special shows by famous Arabic singers and entertainers: Hani Mitwasi, Nancy Ajram, Hussein Aljasmy, Ziad Saleh, Faris Karam, Shireen Abd Alwahab, Cypress Garden, Dancing Fountains Show and fireworks.

The Aqaba Tourism Festival 2011 is conducted by the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce in co-operation with the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities and organized by Tawasol Media & Communications.

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
