Travellers, who wish to take the Nuweiba-Aqaba ferry in the next few days: please be aware of the fact that one of the slow ferry boats called "Pella" had a serious fire accident today .

Due to this unfortunate event there might be delays, especially because this is also the time for Hajj (Muslims's pilgrimage to Mecca) when the ferries are busier than usual.

I advise you to call the ferry stations in Aqaba or Nuweiba before your trip to get the most up-to-date information regarding departures.

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
