Bait Ali Camp offers an up-market way to experience Wadi Rum if you don't want to stay the night in a traditional bedouin camp out in the desert.

Even though Bait Ali is not a beduin camp but rather a larger holiday camp-style place made up by concrete chalets and tents, it has a great atmosphere, beautifully built and decorated common areas and a nice swimming pool.

The camp is located outside the Wadi Rum protected area, you have to turn left from the Wadi Rum road before you reach the Vistor Center. It is very easy to find and you can drive there with your own car - this is something you are not able to do if you staying inside the protected area.

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
