Before You Rent a Car in Jordan

"We spent six days in Jordan during Easter holidays 2008 and visited the country by car.

We booked our car, a Toyota Corolla, through the German internet reseller Autoeurope. Finally, the rental company was Payless. We picked up our car in Amman at the Holiday Inn hotel.

The rental staff seemed extremely competent and was very friendly.

The rented car was in good condition except the many scratches. The car went well the whole trip and we could return it to Payless at Amman Airport even at 1 a.m. in the morning.

We did not experience any issues with traffic or driving behavior. There are enough petrol stations along the major roads."
