Club Murjan

Club Murjan is a private club 10 Kms south of Aqaba, located within the Marine Reserve.

It has direct access onto the public beach of the Reserve. Directly in front of the Club there are 3 House reefs perfect for snorkeling and diving: First Bay, Cazar Reef and Eel Garden.

Facilities include: restaurant, pool, bar, showers and changing rooms.

Club Murjan is also the base of Seastar Watersports- a PADI 5* Instructor Development Centre.
They offer daily guided diving and snorkelling. Courses are also available from Bubbblemaker (8 years), Discover Diving (10 years) and full courses from Scuba Diver to Open water and up to the professional level of Divemaster and Instructor.

Transfer and Entry to Murjan is 9 JD.

The bus collects guests from Aqaba Town hotels and Tala Bay Hotels. For Divers, the transfer and entry fee is complimentary.

Pick-up times vary according to which hotel. Please also contact them to confirm transfers or come to their office in Aqaba: Above and Below, located opposite Days Inn Hotel.

From Aqaba: 09.00-09.10h and 13.30-13.40h.
From Tala Bay: 09.20-09.30h and 14.00h.

Taxi ride to Club Murjan from the downtown costs around 5 JD.

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
