Search Middle East Cruises

Not all Middle East cruises include Aqaba amongst their ports of call so finding the ones that actually visit Aqaba takes a little bit of extra time.

Unfortunately, the various cruise search engines usually don't give you the option to search by "Port of Call" only by "Destination", "Cruise Line", "Date" etc.

So you have to browse your search results and look for "Aqaba (Jordan)" or "Al-Aqabah (Jordan) in the itinerary.

Only CruiseCritic.com seems to have a search engine that allows you to search by "Popular Ports" too.

Aqaba Port

The main port of Aqaba, where you'll be docked, is within walking distance from the great flagpole and the Aqaba Castle. It is a mixed-use commercial port, your cruise ship will be berthed next to freight ships and tankers.

Soon this main port will be relocated to the southern industrial zone while this area will accommodate Jordan's largest real estate development, Marsa Zayed. This project is due to be completed by 2017 and will include a new cruise ship terminal.

Shore Excursions from Aqaba Port

All cruise lines offer shore excursion to Petra (2-2.5 hours drive from Aqaba) and some of them also a jeep tour in Wadi Rum desert (around a 1 hour drive from Aqaba).
