Dead Sea Ultra Marathon 2011

The 18th Dead Sea Ultra Marathon will take place on April 8th 2011, more than 6000 runners are expected to participate from all over the world.

Participants will not only run from Amman to the lowest point on Earth but also raise money for The Society for Care of Neurological Patients.

Runners can challenge themselves in one of the five categories:

* Ultra Marathon: 50 km
* Marathon: 42 km
* Half Marathon: 21 km
* Fun Run: 10 km
* Junior Marathon: 4.2 km

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
