Aqaba Airport - AQJ

The King Hussein International Airport is located north of the city, in about a 20-minutes drive time from the downtown.





Direct flights from Amman

Royal Jordanian airline operates two flights a day to Aqaba from Queen Alia Airport in Amman:

In the morning: departing at 7.30h and arriving at 8.30h.

In the evening: departing at 17.00h and arriving at 18.00h.


Return flights from Aqaba leave at 8.50h in the morning and 18.30h in the evening.

One-way ticket price: 20 JD excluding tax. (Tax is around 10 JD but may vary.)

Chartered flights from other countries

Tour operators often fly charters to Aqaba from several countries, mainly from Europe.
