Roman Chariot

The monumental hippodrome at the ancient city of Jerash in Jordan is hosting a spectacular event – authentic replica Roman chariots racing in the Roman circus at Jerash.

The show is featuring Roman Army warfare techniques, including war machines in action and gladiators, in addition to seven lap races with Roman chariots.

Show starting:

Saturday to Thursday: at 11.00h and 14.00h
(except Tuesdays)

Friday: only one show: at 10.00h

The performance lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Ticket prices:

Individual tickets are sold at the entrance.
- Adults (foreigners): 12 JD
- Adults (Jordanian): 5 JD
- Children (5-12 years): 2 JD
Prices include the sales tax.

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
