Opened in 2008, Radisson BLU Tala Bay Resort is one of the out-of town 5-star hotels on Aqaba's South Beach.

Located outside of the city of Aqaba, some 10 minutes drive from the downtown, the hotel is part of Tala Bay Resort.

There is a shuttle bus running between the hotel and the city center every hour, a taxi ride costs around 7-10 JD.

The hotel has 336 rooms, all of them equipped with flat-panel LCD televisions and free high-speed Internet access.

Services include: welness and fitness center, private beach and pools, kids' area, restaurants and bars.

The Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort, Aqaba has been awarded the internationally recognized Green Key certification. The luxury resort has been officially accredited for its environmentally friendly practices after a comprehensive assessment was undertaken by Green Key representatives in December 2010.

Green Key is an eco-rating programme that recognizes those in the leisure industry that are committed to improving their environmental and fiscal performance. In order to become a Green Key property, hotels have to fulfill a list of environmental requirements, covering a wide range of criteria; from environmental demands, to demands on policy, availability of action plans, education and communication. Obtaining the Green Key shows the sense of responsibility an organization has for its surroundings and society.

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
