Taba to Aqaba Fast Ferry

If you are on a holiday in Sinai, you can get from Taba to Aqaba by Sindbad XPRESS, a fast ferry service operated by Sindbad.

It runs between Taba Heights Marina and Tala Bay Marina in Aqaba.

Ferry Timetables and Ticket Information

The journey with the fast boat or ferry between Taba and Aqaba takes cca. 75 minutes.

Departures:
  • From Taba to Aqaba: between 7.30h in the morning
  • From Aqaba to Taba: between 19.30h in the evening

Tickets:
  • One-way: USD50 or JD35
  • Round: USD85 or JD60


Good To Know

These prices do not include departure taxes - JD 5 in Jordan and LE 50 in Egypt.

You can buy the ticket on the boat BUT you have to make reservation by phone 24 hours before! It is good idea to call Sindbad anyaway to get the departure times confirmed.

Delays happen due to bad weather or if the port is too busy.
