Having just returned from a 10 day independent tour of Jordan with its wonderful history and charming people - a night spent in the desert at Wadi Rum was the highlight.

We booked via www.wadirumdiscovery.com - Ayesh is a Bedouin who's family have lived in the area for many years. In fact we met many of his brothers, cousins and family whilst there - everyone seemed to know Ayesh!

He was a charming and hospitable host who made sure we saw the best of what the desert had to offer.

Having read other reviews about the noise from other camps and even from the roads - the experience at Ayesh's camp is a world away from all of this, and you will not hear another sound......... we had the luxury of being his only guests that night and felt incredibly privileged.

Lying in the desert looking at the stars is a truly magical experience that you will never forget.

The camp, whilst basic, offered far more facilities than we expected:
there are toilets and showers (which we didn't' t use due to water being such a precious resource in the desert).

The food - cooked by Ayesh - was delicious and plentiful which we ate around an open fire.

I would highly recommend Ayesh if you want to experience the true charm of a real Bedouin.

I and my wife we spent beatiful two days in desert gueided by Ayesh Ali who (WadiRumdiscovery) First day - 4 bridges trip and second day hiking in Jebel Khash.
We can recommend Ayesh for his friendship and open mind.
We realy enjoeyd this trip in a amazing scenery.

We have just come back from Jordan, and spent one night in Wadi Rum with Ayesh at his camp. It was the most memorable experience. We are inexperienced scramblers, he was patient and supportive in guiding us up the Burdah Arch. The camp is very comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious.

We just returned after one week to Jordan and wadi rum definitely worth the time.
In wadi rum we had 2 days camel truck with Ayesh we book our trip 2 weeks before by e-mail , Ayesh he wait us at the visitor center at wadi rum then he drive us to his house we had tea then he explain us the trip and the route Again then we start the camel truck . we had 2 great days with Ayesh . we arraying the trip for 2 days with 2 nights camping out in the desert with out tents just in caves the first night we camp just near the burdah rock bridge the second night we camp at Am sabata area for the sun site so Ayesh he arraying for us as we want we had mounted guide we hade warm plankts and mattresses. . the guide for the camels was Salem he is Also very good he made very good Bedouin tea for us on the fire we help hem to collect the wood for the fire at the camping place after going out of the camel Ayesh he made very good food cooking at the open fire we really get very good experience , we recommend this trip and camping out side in the wildness .
We love wadi rum and we love the sound of silent on the nights .
We highly recommend ayesh .

Ayesh have been a desert guide for many years already. He knows where to find the most beautiful and impressive places of Wadi Rum and also its secrets. Wadi Rum is his homeland and he love it very much.

Ayesh will answer all the questions that may come to your mind - about Bedouin dress, customs, history or any other aspects concerning the Bedouin you are interested in.

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
