Wadi Rum Full Moon Gathering - Spring/Autumn 2011

Wadi Rum Full Moon Gathering program:

A group of adventurous travelers will come together to enjoy the unique experience of traditional Bedouin cuisine and culture under a full moon in Wadi Rum!

Meeting at sunset, you will be lead, by camel, through the desert to a campsite in Lawrence's canyon, set aside especially for the group.

Together with your hosts, members of the Al Zawydeh tribe, you will share a Bedouin meal.

After dinner, the group will enjoy a hike guided by moonlight through the Reserve, before being entertained by traditional Bedouin stories and games with one of the tribal elders.

At the end of the evening, you will have the option to be escorted by jeep out of the desert or to enjoy a night of moon-lit camping.

"Driver and vehicle were very acceptable - and in light of the driving/vehicle conditions in Amman this was most welcome. The service is on the expensive side when compared with the local taxi service but, in my opinion, most worthwhile. The driver was welcoming and very helpful. Luggage handling was completely handled at both ends of the trip in a very professional manner. I would definitely use this service again."
