If you are NOT into mass-produced souvenirs that are mostly offered at the regular souvenir shops in Jordan, Souk By The Sea is the place for you to go.

Here you will find authentic, hand made merchandise by local craftsmen (more women, actually). Handicrafts include jewelery, embroidery, mosaics, baskets, soaps, sand art and perfumes.

You can also buy spices, oils, nuts and sweets or try some snacks and refreshments in the foud-court.

You may also book a dive, a hot-air balloon flight or a bird watching trip for next day as some local sports clubs and organizations also represent themselves at the Souk.

And let your kids get a face paint and a glitter tattoo while you are enjoying the music from the stage!

Souk by The Sea is a Community Prosperity Initiative project implemented by World Associates, LTD. It is partially funded by the USAID - Aqaba Community and Economic Development Program in partnership with the Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) and managed by the World Associates.

If you reside in Aqaba and wish to take part in the weekly fair, please contact the organizers through the Souk By The Sea website or via their Facebook page.
